MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER (FULL TIME)
Hunter Foundry Machinery Corporation currently has an opening for a Mechanical
This person performs diversified assembly and erection operations to assemble highly
intricate and/or large and expensive precision apparatus, machines and equipment having
critical tolerances and strict inspection requirements. Do skilled fitting, aligning,
adjusting and secondary machining. Check and test sub-assemblies and units.
Applicants must be able to work from assembly drawings or specifications, and have the
ability to read blueprints and schematics. Must be able to use all hand tools such as files,
mag and hand drills, air operating hand polishers and grinders, plus a wide variety of
precision measuring instruments and gauging devices. Plan assembly procedures, and
perform hand operations such as filing, drilling, tapping, etc. Should be able to work
independently and meet deadlines. Must be able to regularly lift 30 pounds, and
occasionally up to 50 pounds. Must be very meticulous and exact in their workmanship.
Experience with overhead cranes and forklifts is a plus.
This job requires a high school diploma or GED, plus knowledge of design and
mechanical principles, shop practices and machining fundamentals as acquired through
vocational training and/or shop experience.

CNC MACHINIST (FULL TIME)
Hunter Foundry Machinery Corporation currently has an opening for a Computer Numerical
Controller, CNC Machinist.
Candidates must be able to plan machining by reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics,
drawings and/or work orders. Program mills and lathes by entering instructions, including
zero and reference points, setting tool registers, offsets, and calculating requirements. Works to
very close tolerances. Determines sequence of operations on a wide variety of large or
expensive parts of complicated forms. There are difficult set-ups or irregular shaped parts
involving a number of critical dimensions.
This job also involves the use of cranes and forklifts. Must maintain safe operations by
adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Other jobs may be assigned by the supervisor.
Experience with a LaBlonde Lathe is a plus.
Minimum job requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience
operating CNC Machines through work experience or vocational training. Programming
knowledge and experience is desired. Should be able to work independently and meet deadlines.
Must be able to regularly lift 30 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. While performing
this job, you will be required to stand, and reach with hands and arms.
